"Tienerklanken," or "Teen Voices" when translated to English, was a Flemish language pop music television program originating in Belgium. It was broadcast from 1963 to 1973, running on the Vlaamse Radio-en Televisieomroeporganisatie Belgian television network. It showcased European and American stars of the pop, rock and rhythm, and blues genres.
The John Barry program was one of a series of episodes called “luister naar de film” or “Listen to the Movie” which seem to have been broadcast in the 1969-1970 timeframe. While the record of these shows (and the entire series) is incomplete online, here’s what I can piece together:
Episode #5 Broadcast on 8 February 1970 Episode #6 Broadcast on 22 February 1970 Episode #9 Broadcast on 5 April 1970 Episode focusing on Francis Lai broadcast on 19 April 1970. Episode broadcast on 3 May 1970
Bob, just got this video onto DVD-R and I want to thank you for the details in English. By the way, the opening theme is something I distinctly recall as being from American TV circa late 50s early 60s. I believe the program was a weekly network non-fiction / biographical sort of thing. I can't remember the name of the show, nor do I know who wrote the theme - but I most definitely have heard it before!
