La-La Land has announced that after Stagecoach and Rio Lobo on June 19th, their next releases are the ones they will premiere at comic con (before selling on their own site July 19th); After that will come new titles on July 31, August 14th, and August 28th.

I found this title on Amazon.com that has an August 21st release date there. Since typically titles go up for sale on La-La Land's own website 3-4 weeks before the Amazon release date, I assume this is a July 31st title.

Presenting the original score to the acclaimed hit DC animated series Green Lantern - The Animated Series, currently airing on Cartoon Network. Composer Frederik Wiedmann fashions an amazing, pulse-pounding original score that propels the legendary Green Lantern to out-of-this-world heights. Packed with more than 70 minutes of thrilling super hero music from some of the show's greatest moments!

I watched the first season of this show, and what I remember of the music is pretty good. The main theme is brief, but distinctive. I like the composer, and I like the show, and I like all things DC, so this will be a must-buy for me.

Just a quick correction, the Comic Con titles are Debuts and WILL NOT be "exclusive" to the con. Those comic con titles go on sale to the general public on July 19 ( a Thursday).

I knew that of course; Just worded my post weird. It's been corrected. smile

So Green Lantern is indeed a July 31st title, then?

That's the plan along with USED CARS (includes both Patrick Williams score and the unused (mostly) Ernest Gold score) to coincide with the screening event we have planned that night

What I would give to be there! I guess I'll just have to listen to the DVD commentary instead (which is one of the funniest commentaries ever recorded BTW). smile

Any commentary with Kurt Russell is the funniest commentary ever recorded. So much fun.

I remember some of it, especially the 200 car sequence.
Also, on the DVD commentary the writers mention the rejected score.

Fun movie and music. Is the Bobby Bare song over the end credits included ("Used car seller take care/Buyer beware")?

Agreed. I too like the show and the music. I'll be picking this up at Comic-Con!

How can you pick it up at Comic Con if it doesn't come out until July 31st?

Now, that's amazing. The releasing of the unused score from Mr Gold is another highlight from an already amazing 2012 LLL year!

I recommand to everyone who bought the TORN MUSIC book to report to this title, as Gold's unused score is discussed in it (I don't think I can quote you, The Cat, regarding copyright -- but you may do it yourself...).

I expect an old-fasioned highly musical score!
