Gorgeous, my very first John-Williams-score in expanded form. And it only took 21 years wink

This will be lovely and wonderful for me, I only hope it´ll sound as good as the original.

I hope this won't be 3500 units like 1941 was. I would think this is their biggest and most popular release. I hope there will be enough to go around.

Awesome! That is a fantastic cover, too! I smell... Titus? smile I miss Titus - give him a raise.

Very, very happy for everyone who wanted this one, and I'm sure LLL have done a terrific job on it...

I just can't stand Hook.

There are bright spots - Hoffman and Hoskins are great together, the design is beautiful and Williams' work is brilliant...but I honestly detest the film so much I could never listen to it. It's just so *dumb*. Skateboarding lost boys, food fights, and will someone please explain to me how Hook is supposedly killed at the end when the opening in the croc's mouth is clearly just going to fall around him, leaving easily enough room for him to stand in there, like Buster Keaton going through the window of the collapsing house. Honestly, it makes me so mad. Even when I was 11 and it came out I felt this way.

So, well done LLL - I'm sure this is brilliant, but I'll just be over here with my copy of James Newton Howard's score for P.J. Hogan's Peter Pan - now THAT is a perfect Pan movie.

(NB, nothing against LLL at all - I'll be ordering Speed and probably Jennifer 8 asap!)

Except for the speaking voice of the kid playing Pan (first thing I'd have done is dubbed every single word coming out of that kid's mouth with a British lad who could emote), and I don't like the drum machine in the one cue that Disney used over and over for promotional materials for about two years...I'd agree with you.

BTW, Jason Isaacs is BRILLIANT as Hook and as Mr. Darling.

Indeed. Jason Isaacs is actually my favourite actor, but he is so good in this. If I'm in the right frame of mind, just thinking about the way he plays the final return scene can set me blubbing! Also, yeah, Peter Pan was arguably the least convincing part of the film, but it gets by, still.

You're not missing much movie-wise in my opinion - score on the other hand...
