ARMED RESPONSE---trailer released for the Wesley Snipes sci fi movie.

DUMBO---Michael Keaton confirmed he will be the villain in the Tim Burton live-action remake movie, “I am reuniting with Tim Burton. It’s gettin’ old. You just want to be around that guy. You want to be in his sphere because he’s original and unique and an artist.”





THE JETSONS---Warner Bros. Television is developing a live-action tv series based on the 1960s animated series with Robert Zemeckis as executive producer. Warner Bros. is also developing a live-action theatrical movie.





STAR WARS---a R2-D2 prop sold for $2.76 million at a recent auction. The prop was assembled from parts used in the two STAR WARS trilogies. The auction listing stated, “No internal mechanics or workings are present.”





DOCTOR WHO---photo released for the Christmas Special shows to versions of the Tardis.





SHARKNADO 5: GLOBAL SWARMING--poster released for the latest Syfy sequel.





COMRADE DETECTIVE---Amazon 1980s Romanian spy spoof with dubbed voices by Channing Tatum, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Chloe Sevigny, Kim Basinger and Debra Winger.

NEW MUTANTS---Alice Braga (PREDATORS) will play Dr. Cecilia Reyes, who can generate a protective bio-field around herself, in the movie. She replaces Rosario Dawson who is no longer involved.

VENOM---Marvel Studios head Kevin Feige said Spider-Man will not appear in the Sony Pictures spinoff movie.

X-MEN: DARK PHOENIX---Evan Peters is returning as Quicksilver.

SENSE8---Netflix will air a two-hour finale for the cancelled series to placate fan protests.

Not sure if the Dune reboot or the live action Dumbo is the worst idea for a movie ever.

If that means an Alan Silvestri pilot score, then I'm for it.

If I even hear the name Will Farrell for George, I'm gonna vomit. Just saying in advance.

I still think any remake of DUMBO is mostly ridiculous.

The original was only a little over an hour long.

I can't imagine what Tim Burton will make of it.

Maybe kill off all the characters, and make them animated corpses....

With Burton, you never know.
