Howdy all, I've been enjoying the thread about Golden Age composers (with whom I have little familiarity). I was thinking about purchasing Steiner's "King Kong" and Korngold's "Robin Hood" from Naxos, since they're dirt cheap. I've read that they were originally produced under the Marco Polo label with great liner notes, but under the Naxos label which they are produced now, the notes have been significantly reduced. However, one of the comments at Amazon states that some of the old liner notes can be found online. Does anyone here know where such can be found *legally* online? I love reading liner notes! I've tried Naxos web page, but it is hard to navigate, and the pages for these works do not have a liner note download. Anyway, I figured if anyone knew about such things, it might be someone(s) who reads here. So, let me know anyone here does. And thanks in advance!
