BURBANK, CA (May 18, 2015) - The Man From U.N.C.L.E. has captured the hearts of its viewers since its premiere in 1964. This critically-acclaimed spoof television series featuring Leo G. This digitally enhanced series, also nominated for 7 Emmy Awards over its successful 4 season run, includes 29 one-hour long episodes of priceless entertainment and over 100 minutes of enhanced content.

In this hit spoof of the spy genre, actors Robert Vaughn and David McCallum play the roles of top agents Napoleon Solo and Illya Kuryakin, who use their charm, wit, and a never-ending assortment of gadgets to defend the world from evil, chaos and bad taste. Yes, & the first series of The Man From UNCLE is getting a release in the UK as well! They never released the big case here. They've also done a neat repackage of the whole thing for $80, a good price...which is bound to come down a bit.

And on another site, someone contacted Fox Europe about the region coding for Lost In Space, & they said it would be locked to region A, which is bad news, but it is early days & they could be wrong. And I understand it's being released in Australia which is B...& I'm sure it'll be released in Germany, most thing are.

THE DAKOTAS (1962-3) from Warner Archive, a single season western starring Larry Wald, Jack Elam, Chad Everet, and Michael Greene. I think on pressed dvds, not mods.

Great news! I'm sure a region B release will happen. The b/w seasons were by far the best, best stories, & as John says, some future stars in the cast. I love the way they never bothered with filming abroad. If it was supposed to be France, they'd be a French road sign, a 2CV & Warren Mitchell in a beret & striped top & bike, as an Onion Johnny!

You gotta love the ITC shows.
\

Yeah, and all the 'exterior" shots were on the road outside the studio. Plus, Roger never went to any location; it was always his stand-in!!!

so just to be clear:
all the b & w shows are being released in the US and as a seperate package.???

Bless you SHout factory!!!!!!!

While the 2012 limited release of "The Most-Wanted Edition" is still readily available in many places (at, or sometimes above, the original list price of $242.99 SRP), the folks at CBS Home Entertainment and Paramount Home Media Distribution have now scheduled a May 5th "unlimited" re-release of The Fugitive - The Complete Series on DVD. This 32-disc set will be missing the thirty-third Bonus DVD from that previous package, but will have all the same contents (episodes and extras) as found in the eight individual half-season sets the studio put out in stores from 2007 to 2011. Excepting, of course, that the hard-won technical corrections are surmised to be in place, naturally! Specific pricing isn't available yet, but it's expected to be more attractive than the previous complete set.

Just an FYI, reports from people who have purchased the set say that there are music issues with this cheaper set. It's not the same content as the Most Wanted box. Episodes in seasons 2 and 3 have the Mark Hayes replacement music.

I like the clip and just for the wild look of Jack Elam I will buy it!

There was no disappointment on my part nor that of anyone else I've come across who got the "Batman" set, other than the screw-up made that Warner ultimately corrected with replacement discs.

Jericho - 'The Complete Series' of the 1966 Show is Coming to DVD
The Warner Archives have scheduled an MOD release for June

Taken from: http://www.tvshowsondvd.com/news/Jericho-The-Complete-Series/21128#ixzz3bJXnzoaK

As a reminder, FSM used to release the soundtrack CD:
http://filmscoremonthly.com/cds/detail.cfm/CDID/336/Jericho-The-Ghostbreaker/
http://www.screenarchives.com/title_detail.cfm?ID=4344

Jericho was a WWII adventure series following three Allied specialists on secret missions throughout Europe. The theme and second episode were scored by Jerry Goldsmith in his military-suspense mode, replacing a theme by Lalo Schifrin who had scored the pilot. Goldsmith's theme and complete episode score are included on this CD, as are Schifrin's unused theme and a suite from his pilot score, significantly foreshadowing his music to Mission: Impossible.

The remainder of Jericho was scored by Morton Stevens, Gerald Fried and Richard Shores, and suites from all of their episodes are included. The music recalls the style of The Man From U.N.C.L.E. but perhaps more grim.

Well a lot of people aren't disappointed, but I think I would be. A few years ago a TV station started showing Batman in the afternoons, two a day. I recorded about twenty, & sat down to look at a few of them (I really loved that show in the sixties)...& after a couple I had to give up! For me, anyway, once you've seen one or two you've seen the lot. I'm thinking that Lost In Space will be the same ("Oh the pain"), but let's see, it may only be region A. Some shows stand up pretty well, The Saint is good (esp the b/w stuff), The Avengers, & I'm hoping The Man From UNCLE. I still love a lot of things from the sixties, but a lot more stuff, I'm sort of done with.

I just got the Timeless Media Group's DVD set of 87th PRECINCT and was shocked to find it transferred from 16mm prints. Did the 35mm materials perish in Universal's fire???

The show is stupifying in its formula!
Yes, every episode is practically identical even down to the generous use of stock footage.
the producers goal; spend as little money as possible

That's not 100 percent true if you know what to watch for. There are various change-of-pace episodes, and many of the guest stars are worth seeing. Joan Collins is nothing less than arresting. And don't forget the time Robin was swallowed whole by a giant clam.

If true, that sucks. I tried to do my research before buying it and I'd read it would be the same content as the Most Wanted Edition. Why the hell can't CBS get this right?
