A goal from Morata gives Juve a 1-0 advantage at the 9 minute mark. Real come close on a Kroos strike.

CR7 scores with a header on a smart assist from James Rodriguez...It's 1-1.

Juve playing quite well but you suspect real may take advantage if juve fade at any point.

Flicking back and forth from an Auteil movie the Lookout.

Juve's Carlos Tevez's penalty kick gives Juve back the lead, 2-1.

Good game, both teams had a go. Juve played well, can defend and offer something in attack. Don't know what Bale was doing though, looked like a bystander the most part. The return leg should be interesting.

Yes that makes it a proper second leg.
Real will have to go for it now.

Juventus 2 Real Madrid 1

Despite my Bold Prediction, Juventus win at home. wink All Real have to do is win 1-0 at home and then they can be duly mauled in the final by Barcelona.

Daniel Sturridge undergoes successful hip surgery here in the U.S. A bit young for hip surgery, I would think.

Barcelona leading Bayern Munich 2-0 at the 85 minute mark courtesy of Lionel Messi (and some poor passing from Bayern).

Barcelona 3 Bayern Munich 0

Neymar adds a late goal after Messi's brace to put away the defensive-minded and hobbled Bayern Munich.

Without the creativity and pace of Ribery and Robben last night, Bayern were likely to struggle to worry Barca's defence. Especially with 'The Mask' Lewandowski up front, very overrated to me. An El Clasico final in Berlin, perhaps?

Other than Chelsea "not getting beaten", roll eyes this year's CL has been kind of a bust for me, actually. Too few engaging games. I will enjoy the summer break (La Copa America notwithstanding). wink

Yeah, your side's extended summer break was why I posted those "glory years" photos. Hope they cheered you up. wink

If Bayern plays true to form, they will return home and pound Messi and His Mortals into powder, like they did to Porto and Shakhtar before them. I don't see it happening, but then I didn't think Barca would get shellacked 7-0 aggregate a couple of years ago, either. Strange happenings in this game, "football."
