Well let me say Yeaaaaaaahhhhhhhh for a NEW Bruce Broughton soundtrack release! I'm unfamiliar with Prancer (never heard the score nor seen the film), Thor 2 may be purchased after viewing the film (depending if the music stands out or not) and I will pick up Silvestri's Christmas Carol at sometime cos it's a great Xmas score that I really like (I have a cdr of the download that's kept me amused til now). But the pick of the bunch for me is some new BB. I haven't heard the score or seen this film either, but BB is good enough to buy without any hesitation. It seems to have been ages since Intrada last released something by him and although we knew his Buck Rogers scores were coming, I was still getting worried about the lack of new stuff from him by them!! Problem solved!

i was curious if this would be intrada's last of the year at all since it's 4 titles as opposed to two and also heavily on the holiday themes. I have no inside info, but my hunch on this is that their next release date (assuming they stick to their every-second-Tuesday schedule) would be November 26, which is Thanksgiving week and a likely off week. So the next releases are probably December 10. And that doesn't give people a comfortable cushion for delivery of Christmas CDs before December 25. So they front-loaded Christmas CDs (and a Thanksgiving CD) because otherwise they'd be late. "Thor" had to come out concurrently with the film. So that's my long-winded way of saying I don't see any reason to believe these are the last of the year. But if it's a disappointing year for you, do keep in mind that 2014 will begin immediately following 2013. MIND BLOWN! MV

One is Thanksgiving related. Thanksgiving?! I'm hard-pressed to think of any Thanksgiving-related movies, Pocahontas and Addams Family Values aside. Off the top of my head, the only other ones I can think of are Planes, Trains and Automobiles (Ira Newborn) and The Myth of Fingerprints (David Bridie and John Phillips). If it's Planes, Trains, and Automobiles I'm gonna go nuts!!

Schiffy, for a guy without any "inside info," you do a great job of prognosticating and speculating (without ever being exasperating). Maybe you're just a smart guy who pays attention. Regardless, maybe folks ought listen to what yer saying'...

I liked of the titles of Intrada for november 12th, and I think that Intrada will have more two releases before the end of year, november 26th and December 10th. For me this year again Intrada was the best label from far, very wonderfull titles the label brought this year: Cocoon, Hunt For Red October, The Miracle, and many many others, just to remember few. I love the work of Intrada, first because after FSM, Intrada has being the most democratic label, a variety composers has titles there. Thanks Intrada !!!!
