Has been on cable at times over the years. This series, which was produced by Sam Katzman for release by Columbia, was based on the comic strip "Jungle Jim," starred Johnny Weissmuller as Jungle Jim, and consisted of sixteen films spanning a period from 1948 to 1955. The series is nostalgic for me, since when I was growing up one of our local stations used to show a Jungle Jim film on many a Saturday morning. And now here is TCM doing the same thing. I think I caught HOSTILE WITNESS on a TCM showing about 2 years ago. A neat little mystery IMO. Cable has been kind to it too. Then was put into a great syndication package in 1976, which included many solid Hammer classics.Shown often in the late 70's and early 80's. Since cable TV has basically given the film good exposure over the years. Since film has appeared once and awhile on cable networks.
