Skipped watching MAD MONSTER PARTY? this Halloween season. I usually do, but the Blu-ray came out last year and was less than it could have been, so I skipped it this year. Gave it a rest.
In my life, Phyllis Diller is best remembered for this minor thing in her career, but that happens! I went to MAD MONSTER PARTY? when I was nine -- and hated it! Now, I'm very fond of it. I remember my mother taking me to THE PRIVATE NAVY OF SGT. O'FARRELL when it came out, but I didn't think much of that then, and I'm not fond of it now either. Too bad Diller didn't have a better film career, she was a very smart person and probably a very good actress if someone had just seen that.
