So.....who wants to talk about the music on this excellent cd again? Do the people at Lalaland even realise what a dream release this is for most 80's kids? I'm not sure if the (very) outdated midi sounds are something for anyone who didn't watch it back then, but to me it's a great listen.

I've gotten the impression that there's only a very small amount of He-Man fans here. Much more discussion about this CD at
I was a fan of the show (and She-Ra even more) when I was a kid but not too long ago I tried to watch a bit and man, I just couldn't -- and I say this as a huge fan of animation (by contrast I *can* watch 80s Transformers and even Jem)
As for the music, well, I'm sure most people on this board know why I won't buy it...

I know what you mean about the show itself, but I like the music. And it's not the same for all 1980s cartoons. The Mysterious Cities of Gold still keeps me glued even though I've watched the whole series three or four times.

If you don't like the either of cartoons and don't wish to buy the soundtrack... why are you even wasting your time in this thread?

Listening to this set I'm wondering what was found and what was lost of the music. The music and themes of the original lp aren't repeated in the new found music. Is this because of space reasons? Or perhaps the tapes of those themes are lost because it was used for the album presentation.
The LP program is included both in the first cd (it's a poor vinyl rip) and in the second (from excellent master tapes in mono). So I can't understand Your question...

Well, for example the Orko theme (track 3 of the original album). I assume this is a longer version made especially for the lp as it is longer than all the newly found background music and it has a beginning and end.
My question is. Is there an Orko theme that the lp track was based on? Or a short 20 second cue that evolved into the Teela's theme album track?
Would those even exist? Were they left off because of space reasons? Are they lost because someone used them at the other end of the world to master an lp?
It's nothing too imortant, but I was just missing all those themes in the new background music tracks.
.....p.s. I hope you and your friend enjoy the album as much as I do
