Here's one: I love Lukas for his achievements in preserving film music, and although the boards here are peripheral to that, I believe threads like this and a few others lately are sounding the death knell for half-way intelligent film music discussions in these parts.

The Obama-bait posts (including the OP's) are a dead give-away. Pathetic.

All, I know you're having fun, but do keep it off the forbidden subjects, including b**ts, or I'll have to close the game. There is still a line to maintain 'round these here parts. Also, let's leave references to LK out. I'm not confident he would be amused. Thanks.

Meaning me? Fine, m'dear. Sadly, I was serious. Yet, keeping within the "spirit" of the thread title. Makes ones' head spin, doesn't it?. Quite frankly, I get tired of the right wing mischief making and thick-ear misogyny that drifts through here and elsewhere sometimes. It's getting so that I'm not so willing to just "let it pass" wherever I see it.

Maybe I'll feel less belligerent in the morning. Who the hell needs to feel belligerent throughout the ENTIRE day?

But honestly, if you wanted to stay really true to the original idea of the thread, you'd have to come up with a title that would be a guaranteed lock. Something political, religious or attacking a sexual orientation.

Folks,

I think this has become a more of a cathartic exercise for everyone us to vent some of the daily frustrations in life. We all love film music, thats the common denominator here all along. We can all jest a little knowing that what atrocities we are capable of. Just keep it fun and light and enjoy, before we are sent back to our jails!

I understand what is being said by our friend MR Sones, but the idea of this thread by the original writer MR Zahid, is to write what is offensive and could not be discuss that is what we are trying to bring out, otherwise what is the point of the thread, it sought of like given somebody a record for Christmas , but is told you can't play it, which reminds me what my mother told me years ago, how my grandfather bought my mother a record but she didn't have a record player.i can only continue to do what the thread stands for, hopefully nothing to offend MR Sones.
