It's on the press, that's the good news. So, maybe by the end of this week - that's the hope and still in advance of the official date. I hate when things go on this long, but it happens occasionally.

Really looking forward to it!

I've waited 63 years for SEPTEMBER AFFAIR, so another few days/weeks won't matter much!

Bruce.....thanks so much for the wonderful Golden/Silver Age things you've been doing for the last several years now. They really help to fill in a monumental gap in our collections of film music from this period and, particularly, from this composer and studio.

No, our next release is a world premiere - three scores on two CDs - I've had this one waiting in the wings for a year now - the timing had to be right and now it is.

Mr. Young and One-Eyed Jacks will ship either Friday or Monday next.

Thanks for the update Bruce. I'm anxious to get the Victor Young CD. I bought One-Eyed Jacks when you first issued it! smile

Is it too soon to guess on the two CD set? Can you say if it's Golden Age?

It's actually number 2 but partially number 1 smile And everyone will really have to think outside the box on this one or you'll drive yourselves crazy, which isn't a long drive for some of you.

"The timing had to be just right ... now it is."

Some sort of anniversary with the director? With the film(s)?

Again, 1960s? Paramount?

So I gather that the three films represented on the discs are by one director, but the last part of your first sentence implies that this director also has contributed to the score of one or more of his films in some way: Contributor to or composer of one of the scores? Songwriter? Lyricist?

Are these scores from later than even the Silver Age?
