Ordered the Speed and Speed 2 releases. Still trying to decide about Planet of the Apes... I assume it will still be around when Hook is released.

Double Fielding for me.

I ordered The Mechanic and Jennifer 8, plus Funeral House from SAE.

Best!

I am torn about ordering The Mechanic as I have the Intrada release. Choices, choices.
Decided to pass on The Mechanic for now and ordered Jennifer 8, Breakdown, Speed and Broken Arrow.

I had seen Planet of the Apes (2001) a while back and liked it. I had forgotten what the score sounded like, but I took a chance and bought it, it was worth it. It's a good score to listen to if you're writing an action story or playing an action video game. Give it a shot

I am torn about ordering The Mechanic as I have the Intrada release. Choices, choices.

La La Land said the Intrada version and their version isn't much different. I thought he said specifically, "If you have the Intrada version, keep it, and let those who missed out on that one get this one."

So judging by that, if you have the Intrada version, it may not be worth the money to spend on this new reissue. Definitely was smart getting SPEED though, such a superb score.

Come to think of it, I think SPEED was one of the very first scores I noticed as a child. I use to hum it all the time walking to school.

I'm listening to the Milan Jennifer 8 now and it sounds very good. Not one I'd be thinking needs a sound improvement. I don't think a few more minutes music are a temptation for me either... I already want to program out three or four tracks from this version.
Good score though, if one doesn't already have it.

Jennifer 8 samples were wonderful. I was not expecting to order it but can't resist now. Ordered along with Speed and The Mechanic.

It's not just a re-issue of the Milan release; Young went back and completely revisited the album assembly. And you're forgetting about the second disc, which is the Maurice Jarre score which was never used or released....

Want em all, can't get em yet. If I get some spare cash I'll either get Jennifer 8 or The Mechanic first. Of course, The Mechanic might be a fast sell-out, so I'll be watching that one closely. Kudos to LLL for these great releases!

I'll be a little shocked if SPEED doesn't sell out as fast as Die Hard did, but then again, that may be my own personal bias for loving this score too much.

Are the alternate cues for Jennifer 8 at the end of disc 2 by Jarre or Young?

Gosh, darn. Money's tight this month, so I've picked up four LLL discs I can't afford to miss, including SPEED and THE MECHANIC (missed Intrada's version). Wanted JENNIFER 8, too, but I'll have to risk that selling out.

The big loser this month is Intrada. They've released three discs recently I really want, but, if there's no risk of them disappearing overnight, they'll have to wait until I'm more solvent!

As badly as I want The Mechanic and Speed, I blew the rest of my cash for this month on FSM's Star Trek TNG box, so they'll have to wait if they can. If either of them sell fast, I'm going to have to order at SAE along with a pre-order item so that I'm not charged until mid-March.

Bah! I remember a time before you went all pink pony on us that you'd have... assassinated... for a copy of The Mechanic.

-Speed is Mancina, not Kamen
-The amount extra amount isn't huge
-The original disc already sounded good (at least judging by the YouTube uploads)

I can't imagine this selling without everyone getting a chance and not have to scramble.
