So did Silent Running and everyone pretended it didn't.

Wasn't that a German release or something? The songs weren't even in English.

Silent Running was previously released on LP, not CD. Unless you can prove otherwise.

I know, but the image of Intrada releasing that thing amuses me.

"Duck Tales" seems like the right guess to me. Which would be great! I've never met a David Newman score I didn't like. Except "My Demon Lover." Boy, did that one stink.

I was being facetious! Lighten up, McGann!

"My Demon Lover" is great, if you like terrible things.

Ouch. I think Newman did a decent job. The saxophone/electronics combo works quite well and the KINDRED-style orchestral bits are terrific.

I'm going to stop making fun of "My Demon Lover" now. I'm better than that. Or so I claim.

If it's Ducktales: The Movie, I will cry of happiness.

DuckTales the Movie would be awesome. It`s my all time favorite Newman score. So many themes (including the theme from the TV show) and so much development. It is amazing how someone can come up with such grand and amazing music for a film that really looks more like a saturday morning TV cartoon than a Disney animated movie.

Strange thing is, the UPN corresponds to a DVD release, not a CD release: http://upcdeal.us/products.php?k=014381422924
