Very happy to finally get another "child of the '80s" fan-favorite complete score released. We've seen far too few in recent years that fit this important category although, admittedly, quite a few of the holy grails have been done (Goonies, Karate Kid, Ghostbusters, Predator, Die Hard, Airplane, Naked Gun, Big, Star Wars, mostly Indiana Jones). Gremlins 2 has been one remaining near the top of my wish list for a long time. Next how about Ghostbusters 2? Unfortunately the Varese 1985 special set reprinted only Goonies but not the complete Pee Wee's Big Adventure score, which has still never been available anywhere except in a very limited and pricey Danny Elfman collection. Missed opportunity for them there.

No words can truly capture how ecstatic I am about this. Waiting until next week has already proven to be agonizing. I had long accepted the apparent fact that this would never happen and just took the original CD as it be. Believe me, this has long been at the very top at my 'most wanted' list. After this, there's not really any other soundtrack I'll be quite as happy about (there are a few I'd like someday such as Small Soldiers or Leviathan, but the complete score to my absolute favorite film by my favorite director was all I needed in life. I don't need food, water or love. I'd just like Gremlins 2). I only have a minor hope "New York New York" on here features Tony Randall's singing, but if it's just instrumental, I won't shed any tears (except maybe of joy regardless).

I remember playing hookey from work to go see this (I was more interested in playing hookey from work than specifically seeing this). The score is fairly off-the-charts wacky.

I worked it out at 77 minutes as well.

I tried to check how many copies there´s left, i was able to put all 3000 units to my cart.... Surely this can´t be possible? Winner of today's Total Waste Of Human Time award. Well, thank you Shaun, for your kind words. Let me however enlighten you, because you obviously didn´t know the background of my act. I´m not able to order the batch (haha) until next week. So naturally, as a big Goldsmith fan i don´t want to miss this release. Sometimes these go really fast, so first i put 1500 to my cart, no problem. Then 2500, no problem. Remember that Vareses site has always told us if this is possible. Then i was just curious as surely this title has sold more than 500 copies so far, so i tried 3000. As far as i´m concerned, i was able to order 3000 copies, as they went to cart without problem, so IMO there was/is a bug, which has to be corrected. Now if this is a problem for you, please tell Varese or DMD directly what a waste my post was. So you might reconsider your approach, and think before your award announcement. But i should have been more precise with my post, as it clearly indicated some misunderstanding.

I have the total track time as 77:44 give or take a second or two. Rest assured if we get low we'll be letting you know we're down to a certain number. I'll post here!

Will this be appearing on Colosseum? The only Gremlins they have is for a digital download of Gremlins 2. No, it won't. Colosseum isn't Varèse's distributor anymore.

I tried to check how many copies there´s left, i was able to put all 3000 units to my cart.... Surely this can´t be possible? Why? We have Peter now. And I think he will definitely tell us about low quantity of Gremlins 2... He did it with last batch (Fedora & For Whom Bells Tolls). Well, first i was just curious how many copies there´s left. I didn´t know it´s forbidden now as Shaun puts it between the lines. See my longer post at page 3. I sincerely wanted to make sure there´s no bug at vareses site by pointing this out as if someone really is able to order 3000 copies, however highly unlikely, the problem still needs to be corrected. My intentions were completely honest. Edit. And i might add if there´s a problem with the unit calculator, there can be problem with lower quantities as well, so definitely the issue should be checked. Or it´s just me and my computer, you never know..... Guys, it's apparent they moved to a whole new store design. Not all sites have the ability to let the customer check quantities. When I helped consult a friend's b2b e-commerce site, they gave us two choices for representing inventory quantity, one is the hard and simple - you make 3000 you put in 3000 and when its sold out, the system will remove it. The other is the open quantity. Maybe they didn't want people constantly tying up their carts with 1000s of units to see how many are available. Peter seems to be a good dude for letting us know low quantities, if it's low, he'll tell us.
