As long as the track lists match the disc content (Predator 2) and a soundtrack isn't marked as such if it's isn't (For Whom The Bell Tolls) and it isn't a 20 disc set where only disc 1 is needed (Spartacus, 1985) then... everything will be fine!

Either MARNIE or TWISTED NERVE? Bruce K. has hinted about those titles recently.

Unless it's something people generally don't want.

(or do FSMers buy anything just because it's a film score?)

Actually I hope it's disc 1 of the 1985 set....because that would be fantastic.

So it won't be that.

The Seventh Son: The Deluxe Edition (Marco Beltrami)
Small Soldiers: The Deluxe Edition (Jerry Goldsmith)

Don't tease. I'd genuinely love having them both.

1986!!!!!!

Or 1987....

Or whatever....

(BTW: Did anyone ever actually buy that 1985 thing? Has the concert come and gone? Did anyone go?)

The more I read about what Varese is doing, the more lamebrained they seem, and the less I care.

Robert Townsend

Is this a running joke on FSM board?
Not a first time someone incorrectly wrote his name this way.

LOL fixed it now!

I feel bad for the actor/writer/director Robert Townsend. People probably mention him more on this board by accident than mention him anywhere else on purpose!

Starship Troopers - Deluxe Edition (Poledouris)

Dolores Claiborne - Deluxe Edition (Elfman)

Endless Night (Herrmann)

Mad Max ll - Deluxe Edition (May)

Serpent and the Rainbow (Fiedel)

Hell yes! Who needs money for medication anyway? I want music! (I thought the Mad Max 2 masters were destroyed in a fire, but would gladly reassess this.)

I'm not one to read into clues like they're legal documents, but the clue states "a couple of good, old-fashioned CD Club releases." Wouldn't that mean two releases, and not five?

Maybe we will get 4 releases:
2 not interesting releases ("couple"), one "good" and one "old-fashioned"...
big grin

Dolores Claiborne - Deluxe Edition (Elfman)

fodder for wishful thinking:

Air Force One (Goldsmith)
Gremlins 2 (Goldsmith)
Hollow Man (Goldsmith)
Outbreak (Howard)
The Dark Half (Young)

As many as the foldout vinyl artwork with matching suitcase can hold. big grin

Endless Night (Herrmann)

Mad Max ll - Deluxe Edition (May)

Serpent and the Rainbow (Fiedel)

Endless Night and Mad Max 2 are officially MIA. And Serpent is legally impossible, I believe.

would love to get a nice, plush Abyss-style 2cd release from Poledouris, so I guess Starship Troopers or whatever the Seagal one is called, if there's enough music there.

"old-fashioned" CDs ..... does this mean golden age CDs? Or regular Club type CDs?

In recent years there's little from Varese of interest to me. Will see ......

Maybe you're referring to Under Siege 2?

Anyway...Robocop 2-complete!
