Sarge highly recommends Kritzerland's SAINT JOAN...

http://www1.screenarchives.com/title_detail.cfm/ID/14253/SAINT-JOAN-1000-EDITION/

It's simply exquisite, and a mere $1.95. Listen to that main title -

If Sarge says so, it must be true. can't go wrong for $1.95. smile

Forgot my manners. Thanks for flagging this sale Greg. I've grabbed a few titles for peanuts that I may not have gotten at full price, and a few that I just hadn't gotten round to. Hopefully there will be a few winners amongst them.

If you're a David Newman fan who hasn't got The Runestone and won't buy it even for 50 cents, you're mad.

Thanks for the recommendation. My kind of score so I picked it up along with a couple others recommended in this thread.

Runestone IS great. A big stomping horror score with some Goldsmithisms thrown in for good measure (temp
track no doubt).

The LLL Young Riders by John Debney for 1 cent! That's crazy!

And now it's gone. smile

Greg Espinoza

It's been $0.50 cents for months and no one buys it. Once it's 1 cent it sells out immediately. Bizarre. big grin

Well I snagged that one because I was adding a number of clearance items to my order - and never having heard that one (but being a fan of Debney,) it was a no-brainer smile

It has a great main theme. James Southall gave it a favorable rating on his Web site:

I'm also a huge Debney fan and regret being too cheap to pick it up for $0.50 cents. SAE was probably wondering what they had to do to get people to buy it. Now they know: sell it for 1 cent.

You can't go wrong with "The Red Canvas", especially for that price. I'm surprised it's still there.

Also I tyhink worth mentioning is another title on the clearance list which I had a good words for in my review:

I know. I bought it a while back from LaLa Land. It's a good score, too. It's a headscratcher.

Well, Destination Gobi is now off the list, and I.Q./Seconds is now 1 to a customer.

Placed another order today. Now I'm done. smile

Just got my first order. Listening to Remo Williams/Mission Of The Shark. Excellent.

Looks like SAE has eliminated (roughly) 50 titles from the clearance list.

Damnit, £13 customs for my cheap CDs. I get hit every time now with SAE so it might be time to move over to Intrada for imports. Curse you UK customs!

Blimey, you must have some really bad luck. I've only been hit by customs once, about fifteen years ago (that was a box set of DVD's from Amazon), I've never been charged on anything from SAE or Kritzerland or Intrada.

Most likely an over zealous (jobsworth) post worker in his local office who just loves to snag those parcels and hit them with customs charges.
Overall, I too have been hugely lucky to avoid being hit with them, on two occasions even having the post man deliver them without collecting the charges written all over the package!

I do always seem to be got by SAE and Varese if I'm not careful but never a problem from Intrada, La-La Land or Kritzerland! Oh well, I guess it's just a hobby tax and worth it for the goodies we get.

Are titles added to this page on a regular basis, or is it like one big dump?

I'm still eyeing ALL IN A NIGHT'S WORK, but dreading the gargantuan shipping for just one cd.
