Well, since we have a Piero Piccioni thread, how about a matching set for Umiliani? I have these: Sweden Heaven and Hell White Angel, Black Angel 5 Dolls for an August Moon Today's Sound (A library album that features the theme from Babayaga). I should add that I have a TON of his stuff on comps, such as Easy Tempo volumes 1 through 9 and a slew of other Italian comps I picked up in the late 90s and early 00s. I wonder which of his masterpieces I should own, especially based on the titles I listed above. And, I would LOVE to know where I can get the rest of the "Babayaga" music. As I mentioned, the groovy opening theme is on "Today's Sound," but I haven't found the rest of the stuff, especially the sad theme.

QUESTO SPORCO MONDO MERAVIGLIOSO on Right Tempo has a load of great themes. He also released a bunch of library lps in the 60s & 70s on his own labels - Omicron, SoundWorkshop, Liuto, etc. - that hopefully will get CD releases... lots of great stuff here (if you can find them!) Kronos Records has done a couple releases from these lps, taken from the original tapes - ARAGOSTA A COLAZIONE (movie score) and AFRICA TO-DAY, which is described as "a blend of jazz, funk, world music and progressive rock with percussive breaks, marimba solos, piano riffs and moog licks in a state of the art performance by Piero and his orchestra."

I have these: Sweden Heaven and Hell ah ha! the score with the original mah na mah na with Alessandroni doing the mah na mah na bits and Edda and Gianna doing the doob do de doo doop. Good stuff. (soon to get a rebirth with the new Muppet movie!) my favourite western of his (aside from roy colt mentioned previously by JC) is Il Figlio Di Django - with the great song They called him Django. "I'll kill for Django, and for his mem-mor- ree, he was my fa-ther, a man of high de-gree.."
