This deluxe package includes an exhaustive 16-page booklet detailing the making of the film by noted Rankin/Bass historian Rick Goldschmidt and includes dozens of never-before-published photographs and concept drawings by celebrated Mad magazine alumnus Jack Davis and Don Duga.

Although the end credits to Mad Monster Party advertise a soundtrack on RCA Victor, that recording never materialized. This CD is the first release of the soundtrack ever - it's the coolest party of the year and you're all invited!
