"...You look for somebody..?."

And he blows away a young Hector Elizondo with "..just something for rabbits"

And the tapes of Charles's score - with its fantastic main title - are reputedly lost.

That's what they say. And it is one of my favorite scores.

But Senor Tanner...?

who later was Furillo's mayor!

Isnt there a great tagline, something about Tell Tanner, El Segundo and the others,....!

Brill pic chickenhearted, btw. I had a fab foldout lobby booklet from this which had a page of all the different shaped posters- the ones with BL holding shotgun up in the air.
when identity is revealed, hpfully Chicken and Bob can provide us with all the delicious poster variations and stills set.
The front cover of the paperback was brilliant!

Indeed; you can always tell a Randolph Scott fan.

"They tore his body. They buried his pride. But they forgot his old uniform, his Sharp’s rifle, and his Buffalo gun. Find Tanner, El Segundo, and the 16 others. And tell them VALDEZ IS COMING."

thanks Bob - knew it was a magnificent tagline. Ta for the full version and peter for the poster. Wish i could find that lobby foldout booklet thingy. It had plot synopsis, pics, and every conceivable shape poster.

..You know something? I would have liked to get 100 dollars for that Indian woman...

So would I.

(I watched it again last night, but the rest of you guys fell asleep. Too much beer.)

The last lines of the movie:

Tanner: I should have killed you three days ago.

El Segundo: Or gone to Nogales.

Valdez: Or paid the one hundred dollars.
