Now, I got this booked as soon as I knew of it, especially for myself and my daughter. She's quite a Burton/Depp fan, and I knew she'd love this. Trouble is we'll probably be on short time before, and certainly after, but I would love to see folks from the forum. She'll be working the following morning, and will be getting the same 'Megabus' as me, and going straight to work after a through-the-night journey hoping to catch sleep on the bus. Want to know what the sickener is here? SHE WORKS IN LEEDS! We both live in South Yorkshire, so compared to four hours each way to London, and back, we could both do the MONDAY evening comfortably from home, and she would simply go to the concert straight from work! Talk about bad luck, LOL! Still, maybe there's more chance of Tim and Helena showing at the London gig? Anyway, if there's a cat in Hell chance of seeing anyone it would be nice. When I went to the Morricone concert at the Barbican some years ago, I was in the company of an old friend and one Jonathon Broxton, and sat on my other side was Sir Christopher Frayling, well known biographer of and expert on all things Sergio Leone.. So you never know. I'm actually wondering about doing the Tuesday night one too actually, as my daughter is considering about going with one of her friends. My, she's going to be tired! I don't know. First the Murray Gold Prom, now this. A busy film music buff's year this is turning out to be.

guys, for the Morricone concert i met up with a few guys whose names you would know but we booked a table in the Royal Alber Hall restaurant. Was ok. decent meal. think you have to get in quick though and may have to make a deposit, cant remember. But its perfectly adequate. and you eat/coffee/chat right up till curtain call.
