Yes Kev, love those doom-laden rumblings towards the end of that score track.
I'll have to give this (plus ALL the CDs - none? - which Santa will bring me tomorrow) plenty more goes. The ghostly harmonica is, I think, similar to what Jay Dubbya did for the Bruce Dern (?) character in THE COWBOYS, but what with the gentle guitar n' all the other JW score it most reminded me of was THE RIVER. But on the whole I think this is a completely different beastie. Much more spare in general.

You're right Graham.
There are some licks that call to mind parts of THE COWBOYS and THE RIVER, but it is a 'different beastie' to those scores and quite unique in the JW canon, more often than not.

I imagine the other vendor copies disappeared soon after.
Where did you find your sneaky copy, Graham? Was it retail price too?

24.95 euros from Chris' Soundtrack Corner in Germany. It's still listed in the website catalogue but check first before (or if) you order - he has some things listed as "in stock" and they're not.
Anyway, I was happy to find it at that price. Chris was doing free worldwide shipping too, but I think that deal ended on December 31st.
By the way, I see "Lucho Cueto" listed for "musical arrangement" (for the original LP release). The same Peruvian Lucho Cueto who has worked with, among others, Jennifer López? If it's him, how did he get involved in arranging the music for the album, and what would "arranging" mean anyway, in this case?
