I have also dealt with Disques Cinemusique for years. Honest, reliable, dependable, courteous, fast. I have no reservations about recommending them.

As you may know, I am somewhat new to this board. I am wondering if this is a sound and reliable site from which to purchase music. This question is sincere and is not intended to cast doubt on this selling site but merely a request for information. If everything sounds positive, they will have a new customer. Thanks for the feedback. Thank you everyone. This is exactly what I wanted to hear. It is appreciated. Hello edwzoomom, Please write me a short note. I have an Cinémusique OOP title that you might be interested in. I'll send you a complementary copy if you wish. kvns93674 AT gmail DOT com

Realizing this is late news (plus most of you are probably already aware of this anyway, but ...), I 'remind' you that compact discs will no longer be available after September 30th 2020 from Disques Cinémusique. https://www.disquescinemusique.com/compact-discs "Disques Cinémusique is holding a two-for-one clearance sale of its remaining Compact Discs! Any one CD order placed online through our website allows you to get for free another disc at equal or lower price. There is no additional cost, our prices include delivery charge by air mail and sale taxes for Canadians. All you need to do is email us info@disquescinemusique.com the title(s) of the additional compact discs of your choice with your name. You will receive a shipping confirmation of your complete order. We ship a maximum of four CD per package to avoid you custom fees. Any order for one disc only without mention of a second title will be canceled and refund after 48 hours. This sale is in force until the end of September 2020. After which it will no longer be possible to buy CDs directly from our site"

... compact discs will no longer be available after September 30th 2020 from Disques Cinémusique. One of the two First Ever Online Purchases for me in the mid-90s, when I was looking for already hard to find Goldsmith titles, was from Disques Cinemusique. The other was from CDConnection, which I looked up just a week or so ago, out of curiosity, and it's still around too. They haven't been sources for me for 20+ years, but I'm pleased to know both still exist.

I stopped buying their discs because of the very heavy and clumsily applied reverb they applied to many of their classic score releases. Example: Victor Young's The Brave One. Strange... That's exactly what I liked, can't stand a dry sound.

I heartily recommend: À LA FOLIE... PAS DU TOUT (HE LOVES ME... HE LOVES ME NOT) and other film scores by Jérôme Coullet (DCM 150).
