Tomatoes and cheddar combine into something wonderful.
Can’t stand uncooked tomatoes, except in Italy, where they taste very different. I once scandalised an elderly, churchgoing female relative of Mrs TG by describing them as “Satan’s testicles” without realising she’d come into the room behind me.
I'm usually a devotee of Swiss cheeses like Madrigal and Jarlsberg, but I've become a fiend lately for Trader Joe's "Creamy Toscano, soaked in Syrah." Maybe it's the black peppers.
That quantity in your fridge should keep you for a while. At least.

One type of cheese that I DO NOT LIKE is the kind in which pieces of fruit or other foreign objects are placed within the cheese. No sir, I like my cheese and other foods segregated!
All the supermarkets in the UK sell their own version of French mild & creamy Brie, & all very cheap, & that's the stuff I like. The more expensive Brie like Brie De Meaux, I don't like at all. A bit of mild & creamy, some breadsticks & a glass of wine & I'm sorted.
