Still remember with glee the joy of both meeting the great man himself, and standing on the doorstep of No 221b at Granada Studios.

All this talk has made me want to watch some episodes, and I'm sorry to say I never got around to having them on dvd. Had the off-air recordings for years on vhs, mind and they were well watched.

And yes, Charles Gray was a great addition to the series.

Cropped but watchable versions are on YouTube to whet the appetite for a blu ray. Just finished The Final Solution which was end of episode 2. I forgot how quickly Moriarty was introduced and dismissed after two eps, this one and the red headed league.

I still pinch myself to this day. And that complete set looks very enticing. Got to happen.
