I still use stamps to pay bills and write checks too.

Postage stamp art is beautiful. If I buy them it would be for collecting and not for mailing. Though I have enough expensive hobbies right now.

For those of you who have received a postcard from Tall Guy, who is on a canary at the moment, what's the picture on the stamp? I haven't received mine yet. When I was on Lanzarote with Raquel in 1966, we were fooling around so much that director Don Chaffey told us that we were costing the production a billion dollars a second with our adolescent shenanigans, and Ray Harryhausen said it was costing him a whole day to do one second of filming. Me and Raquel went to the Post Office there to send postcards to our mums to tell them about our affair. She was in her two-piece fur bikini, I was wearing a boy's trunks. I was only six years old. Her stamp had a turtle on it, mine had a canary. Nowadays people say that Post Offices just have robots who put a rubbery squiggle on your postcard, not real stamps. Other people say that Post Offices don't exist now, and that people just automatically click on a picture in InstantGran. I guess I'm complaining, but I suppose evolution has taken place since 1 million years BC.

I haven't received my postcard from Tall Guy yet. I think he's on the Big Canary, but it's part of the same cluster as Raquel's (and mine) "love beach". What's the drawing on yours? I'm literally dying to know, and to receive mine.

Postage stamp art is beautiful.

Now why couldn't the format whores who worship vinyl be as nice about compact disc art as you are about stamps?

And how good must the German postal service be, that they can deliver them even when the address is greyed out.

Even on Gran Canaria they still talk about you and Raquel in hushed tones.
