Straight after diplomat and Fubar, my new favourite binge watch this week is the black comedy Barry. Its kinda like a funnier sicker hitman version of Dexter. Out of a tour of Afghanistan, a sniper turns hitman and then tries to run a parallel life by joining an acting class (run by Henry Fonz Winkler). Very funny, particularly the things going on in the background. 8 out of 10

Van der valk Itv the new one, s3. Really don't know why i am watching this. Episodes are way too long at 2 hours. The characters are predictable and unengaging, dialogue lazily written, plots are formulaic and the villain always seems to be the only periphery suspect who you see briefly after the murder for questioning and then not again till the big reveal. Its smugly, vomit-inducingly woke and while set in Holland, the actors all speak with mostly cockney or posh voices. Other than the limited exterior scenery there is zero dutch about this series. Very fucking odd. 5 out of 10 P.s and you remember that fantastic theme? Well, its so well disguised and hidden and ruined in the main title theme, sherlock Holmes himself couldn't find it.

The Witcher s3 netflix. Its gone from adult series about a swordsman killing monsters and wandered badly into a silly series about mages/witches and the melodrama n hysteria is aimed at teenage girls. Big wait for s3, but its lost its way.

I'm currently about to STOP watching FROM, the paranormal/sci-fi series that is fast disappearing down the rabbit hole (aka its own @rse). I'm getting serious LOST vibes while watching series 2 and I swore when that happens, it's time to turn things off (at least with LOST, I liked (some of) the characters and loved the music. This has only got a spooky night-time vibe going for it). When Michael (from LOST) climbed up the bottom of a well, after entering a tree, and saw a fella from THE LIFE OF BRIAN chained to a wall, who had inexplicably - and impossibly - thrown him a rope to help him up, and a music box appeared, that started playing, and LIFE OF BRIAN said 'they come when the music stops'...well...you get my drift. Time to shut that bollox down.
