BROKEN ARROW: LIMITED EDITION (2CD-SET) LLLCD 1164
Music by Hans Zimmer
Limited Edition of 3000 Units

Presenting the remastered and expanded 2CD-SET of renowned composer Hans Zimmer’s (INCEPTION, SHERLOCK HOLMES, THELMA & LOUISE, BLACK RAIN, RAIN MAN) score to the 1996 Twentieth Century Fox hit actioner BROKEN ARROW, starring John Travolta, Christian Slater and Samantha Mathis and directed by John Woo. Zimmer’s breakneck electronic, Morricone-tinged score not only propels the film’s considerable action mayhem, but it also effectively buoys director Woo’s trademark themes of honor, friendship and betrayal, essentially creating a highly-charged emotional subtext for the movie’s fast-paced tale of hijacked nuclear weapons. Famed guitarist Duane Eddy performs the guitar licks on what would become one of the score’s iconic themes. Produced by Nick Redman, restored by Mike Matessino and mastered by Daniel Hersch, this special release of BROKEN ARROW features more than 30 minutes of previously unreleased score. Additionally, three suites from the original soundtrack release are presented as BONUS TRACKS and the CD booklet features exclusive, in-depth liner notes from film music writer Al Kaplan. This is a limited edition of 3000 Units.

YESTERDAY WAS A LIE: LIMITED EDITION LLLCD 1163
Music by Kristopher Carter

Limited Edition of 1000 Units

Presenting the original soundtrack to the acclaimed motion picture YESTERDAY WAS A LIE, starring Kipleigh Brown, Chase Masterson, John Newton, Mik Scriba and Peter Mayhew, written and directed by James Kerwin. Composer Kristopher Carter is renowned for his work with his Dynamic Music Partners team, who together composed the scores to the BEN 10 TV SERIES, BATMAN BEYOND, BATMAN: BRAVE AND THE BOLD, YOUNG JUSTICE, and TEEN TITANS among others. Here, Carter fashions a sumptuously dark musical atmosphere for this inventive noir, perfectly complementing the film’s unique cocktail of intrigue, thrills, and earth-shattering cosmological secrets. Cast member Chase Masterson brings heat to the spellbinding sonic mix with scorching vocal performances on the title song, as well as “He Won’t Forget You.” Also featured is “City Talks,” performed by Simon Shapiro. Produced by Kristopher Carter and James Kerwin, and mastered by James Nelson, this limited edition release features liner notes comments from writer/director James Kerwin. This is a Limited Edition of 1000 Units.

Having gathered a notable, devoted cult following since its initial theatrical release, CLUE: THE MOVIE sports a wonderful score by Morris – one that deftly weaves wit, slapstick, mystery and suspense with a masterful touch. Produced by Dan Goldwasser and mastered from ½ inch, 3-track Paramount vault elements by Mike Matessino, this special limited edition release features exclusive liner notes by film music writer Daniel Schweiger, including comments from director Jonathan Lynn. JADE: LIMITED EDITION LLLCD 1146
Music by James Horner
Limited Edition of 3000 Units

Presenting the world premiere release of acclaimed composer James Horner’s (ALIENS, GLORY, TITANIC, AVATAR) score to the 1995 Paramount Pictures feature film JADE, starring David Caruso, Linda Fiorentino and Chazz Palminteri, directed by William Friedkin. Previously unavailable in any format, this release of Horner’s erotically charged, Asian-tinged score finally takes its place in his soundtrack canon of notable 1990’s works. 1995 proved to be an especially successful year for Mr. Horner, having released scores to such films as CASPER, BRAVEHEART, APOLLO 13, JUMANJI and BALTO. This release of JADE now fills the hole in one of his most important years as a composer! Produced for La-La Land Records by Dan Goldwasser and mastered by Mike Matessino from ½ inch Paramount vault materials, this release contains bonus tracks that include Loreena McKennitt’s “The Mystic’s Dream” and the classical piece “Le Sacre du Printemps,” both of which are featured in the film’s score. Exclusive, in-depth liner notes by Daniel Schweiger feature comments from the film’s director, William Friedkin. Art direction is by Mark Banning.

Ordered Copernicus' Star, those samples were amazing, plus Battlestar Galactica - Season 2. I was also very surprised to see that La-La Land now has the option of paying with PayPal directly through their website. It was far more cumbersome before, and I'm glad that this is available now. I'm also glad I noticed this beforehand, otherwise I would've been terrified to think I couldn't order the CDs at all, via your site.

Went for Copernicus' Star - sounds like a great score from a composer I don't know (although I have ordered A Single Man). Will pick up Money Train in a week or two, but I don't want to miss out on Copernicus' Star and at only 1000 copies it might be gone fairly quickly. It certainly seems to have a lot of interest here.

Another great selection of titles. Only 1 title in 2 weeks time? Could it possibly be a boxset?

Hey La-La Land, this has nothing to do with these releases, but (looking to take up on your Mancina offer) I just noticed the PayPal option has been removed from your site. Can we not pay with PayPal anymore now?
