There was a piece on the news tonight showing all the celebs we lost in 2010. But another interesting question is who's still around.

Who can you think of in the 80-plus category? Help me out here.

- Sean Connery, b. 08/1930

- Grace Lee Whitney, b. 04/1930

- Roger Moore, b. 10/1927.

- Don Rickles, b. 05/1926

- Hugh Hefner, b. 04/1925

- Abe Vigoda, b. 02/1921

- Noel Neill (TV's Lois Lane), b. 11/1920

- Ernest Borgnine, b. 01/1917

There have to be some actors from the silent era that are still around. One of the oldest (if not THE oldest) European celebrities seems to be Johannes Heesters:

I don't know if he counts as a celebrity, but Portoguese director Manuel de Oliveira is still around and makes films...at age 102!

Michael Caine?!? He's 77! In this company, that's like a young whippersnapper! Manuel de Oliveira was already in his late 20's when Caine was born. smile

Anne Francis was 80 when she left us the other day.

Just a few years ago she attended a FORBIDDEN PLANET screening at the American Cinematheque, and you'll just have to take my word that she looked as hot as ever, bless her soul.
