Since the announcement thread has been hijacked by the usual suspect, I'd like to start a new thread where we can discuss the release itself. For many of us, this 2CD set is a dream come true.
Does anyone know enough about this presentation to be able to identify which tracks contain music not heard on the PEG release? I watched the Blu-Ray recently and was shocked at the amount of great music I hadn't heard on the older CD.
Which of these "new" cues are you most looking forward to hearing?

It looks like a great release I ordered as soon as I saw it was posted.
I think both cover art choices are cool, and I didn't own the previous CD edition. I was hoping for a expanded CD release ever since I watched the blu-ray that was released.
I really loved this score back in the day when the movie was in heavy rotation on cable. The main theme is great, and there are lots of awesome moments, like the Pegasus flying sequence. But by far my favorite moment in the score is the defeat Medusa and that awesome climax with Olivier intoning "Find and fulfill your destiny!" I bought the LP mostly for that cue and I wasn't let down. I also grabbed up the first CD release, so it will be great to have this as well, all finely burnished and fleshed out. Yet another great release of a great score by a great label.
(And speaking of great releases of great scores by great labels, I am now holding in my hands FSM's POLTERGEIST, and preparing to wake up my neighbors with Jerry's masterpiece, heard as never before... Life is sweet!)
Can anyone tell what score is used in the movie trailer for 'Clash Of The Titans'? Especially the piece of music used at the moment when it comes to the cast list.
The samples sold me. I've always enjoyed the theme but I seemed to remember listening to one of the albums at one point and not giving a big deal about it, but....yeah this is some top tier stuff.

It's a track by Shirley Walker from THE BLACK STALLION, titled The Ride.
I never managed to get one of the old releases. Either they were sold out, or overpriced. Can't tell, how glad I am getting it in it's complete form now. The only recording I had was Erich Kunzel's performance of the "Main Titles Love Theme and End Titles" on Erich Kunzel's "The Great Fantasy Adventure Album".
The movie itself represents the end of an aera for me. It came out in a time, where Star Wars and Indy changed the way action-adventure flicks were made. But Harryhausen's animation is still amazing and gorgeous. I think Rosenthal captured that old fashioned spirit quite perfectly in his score.
"Here's a quick heads up on CLASH OF THE TITANS. We divided our manufacturing order with Sony's plant into two batches of 1500 copies each to control inventory and costs over the holidays with so many projects happening at once. However, the first 1500 sets sold out faster than anticipated. We have already re-ordered the second batch of 1500 units and expect them to arrive early in January. Feel free to order the title now and we'll ship it as soon as they are back in stock. Since the title is moving quickly, be aware that the remaining 1500 copies will be the final batch for this release."
OK, I just put in an order for this, Flesh + Blood and A Man Called Horse at Intrada. Anyone know if this means I get three CDs in January or two CDs now and Titans in January?
The old CD of Clash is almost perfect, but the samples of the Cerberus scene and the marsh fight sequence were irresistible. Love love love the sound of the LSO recorded at the ripe end of the analog era.

If all three CDs are in the same order, they will not be sent to you until January. You would have to place two separate orders (one for Flesh+Blood and MCH, another for Titans) if you want the other two CDs to be shipped out faster.
