I thanked Mr Patrick in the other topic/blog post, but now I thank you Lukas for bringing this to us.

I also thank you for keeping the thesis in it's original form and not letting Mr Patrick do a "Lucas" (lame pun intended).

Cheers

I think that is really amazing to be able to have this thesis of the wonderful music of Star Trek, thanks to you and to the great composer for letting enjoy it....!

Blessings from Caracas, Venezuela

As I revisit the excellent and informative thesis, is anyone else attending the 40th Anniversary screening this week? I did today, and thoroughly enjoyed it. Great to see TMP on the big screen, where it is best suited, given its awe inspiring special effects, which still hold up beautifully, and majestic Goldsmith score.

Looking back on it, and the films that followed, I wish the TMP blueprint had been continued - meaning larger scope, serious ideas, a true epic science fiction film. I am of course fond of all the sequels in varying degrees, but this would have been the approach worthy of the classic television show.

Thanks for the kind words. Alas I didn't get to see a screening as I am currently out of the country.
