'Blind Man' by Stelvio Cipriani is a particular favourite of mine.
Now very difficult to find.....badly in need of a re-issue.

'Quartet' are you listening ?

Good thread well done for bumping

I just got Conquest of arkansas and another de masi, both good.

Also finally, Hate is my god, pippo franco, which many of us had on Lp paired with His name cried vengeance (poitevin).
The expansion of Hate is my god is superb, the unreleased tracks are excellent and theres much variety of themes. It is a bit wacky and unusual, but good.

Recommended

Cant find best instrumental tracks on youtube but the songs are sung by pippo Franco himself

Bill,
Just bought the Pippo Franco (33 track release) a couple of weeks ago.....hugely enjoyable !
Conducted by Stelvio Cipriani.

It is available as download.

I'd prefer Quartet to release scores that are otherwise unavailable.

Fair comment, but I'm not too keen on downloads.
I'm a a bit of an old fashioned twat.

'Blind Man' by Stelvio Cipriani is a particular favourite of mine.

A bit of trivia information on that one. Stelvio Cipriani appears to be quoting two of his previous themes, Femina ridens (cantata) and the main theme of Testa T'Ammazzo Croce... Sei Morto Mi Chiamano Alleluja.

Otherwise, I suspect someone, maybe the director, asked him for an ouverture in the Ennio Morricone style, as usually Stelvio Cipriani was not so obvious in his style.

Not sure if anyone has mentioned it, but Death Played the Flute by Patucchi is pretty cool and really good. The film is pretty decent too, if you can find it.

a new CD from the GAD label is Wilcze Echa, a 1968 Polish 'Western' (or should this be 'Eastern'?) by Wojciech Kilar:

Not Beat ... GAD! smile

I'm glad GAD got coverage from other FSMers, but thought I'd post it here, too, because folks interested in Euro Westerns are likely not expecting such from either Poland or Kilar.

Nice Bill I really like 7 Winchester Per Un Massacro myself have only just picked it up a few months back after getting totally hooked on De Masi found a cheap copy of the ScreenTrax cd which also has Claudio Tallino's Killer Adios another good one on the same disc. The Verita Note disc of the expanded 7 Winchester... is very high on my wants list.

One of my favorites. The film played in the U.S. as PAYMENT IN BLOOD.
