Goodman, man I miss him. Watch Childs Play, he wrote such a beautiful theme to that, along with some fun quirky stuff, but the real father/son theme is just incredible. We lost him WAY too soon.

Are you sure you mean Child`s Play? I am not so sure because I think you mean Problem Child, am I right? But hey, I know I sometimes screw up too when it comes to some movie titles. Actually matter of fact I did it last time yesterday over at IMDb`s forum where I wrote Emperor of the Sun instead of Empire of the Sun but that`s life.

By the way, here's part of the training montage from TEEN WOLF TOO with the edited version of Boingo's "Who Do You Want To Be":

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W5u-Vbu9bCE

After this scene, there's a small break, then MORE training montage with "Who Do You Want To Be" before settling into "Outrageous".

Also, and with a special heads-up to ahem, you'll notice some of Goldenberg's original music in the beginning of the clip above, as Bateman catches a frisbee.

Oh, and I almost forgot. There are two hilarious source music appearances in TEEN WOLF TOO - one is where Bateman and his date witness a concert by a small string ensemble....however, the "strings" are Goldenberg's cheesy samples, not real strings! Same thing happens in the dance scene when Bateman turns into a wolf for the first time. There's a big band playing brass instruments, but again all you hear is Goldenberg's cheesy synth noodlings! big grin

There's an original German one on Ebay at the moment

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&item=160336143018

And the price is still acceptable I think...

I agree - though I've already pulled out of the bidding frown

Based on the condition stated I would be disappointed (were I the seller - which I'm not) with anything less than 75 Pounds to be honest - having bid on it earlier in the auction I guess I'll be notified of the sale amount when it ends, so if I remember I'll post it here on this thread for reference.

Great CD, it's worth it IMHO.

John.

"Shooting for the Moon" and "Win in the End" are two of my favourite pop songs from the Eighties ever!
I would pay a lot of money to have the original instrumental (off vocal) versions!
I love the short Goodman's score too. Music from the sequel are not interesting to me.

Hi Thor and fellow FSM Board folk,

I can't believe I missed this post back in 2009. As you yourself know (Thor) that I crazy Zoob have worked as an extra in countless Movies and TV Shows spanning off and on from 1984 - 1999.

And can you believe it, I work on both TEEN WOLF and TEEN WOLF TOO? Actually the Original TEEN WOLF with Michael J. Fox was the 2nd "Extra" gig I got when I moved to L.A. in 1984. I worked for about 2 weeks in all the Basketball Game scenes that were filmed I believe at Lennox High School near Torrance/ Redondo Beach Area in L.A. I was bearded and had my young "Steven Spielberg" look and didn't want to shave my bear, so they put me as a game spectator. All my buddies at the time were clean shaven and got a hell of a lot more work playing High School Students who hung around Michael J.Fox and his friends in the movie. They all probably worked for a full month on the picture. I looked too old with beard to be "High School", but chose not to shave. I guess I was pretty dumb back then or I was being considered for a "Spielberg" look-alike for some show and didn't want to risk shaving and losing that gig. Anyway, it was great fun and M. J. Fox and cast were friendly and nice to everyone. Here's a photo of the Zoob with the main cast, on a break from shooting.

Yeah, I'm the bearded one with all those kids.

Here's Michael J. Fox taking that final winning Foul Shot at the end of the movie which then goes into that great End Titles Song "Shooting for the Moon". Zoob again in background (left, looking at photo) right under the "the and the way" on the poster on the wall. I'm praying he makes the shot. I remember the gal in green top standing close by was French and she was very pretty and fun to hang out with.

What a great day that was! Really cool memories of a lot of old friends. Hard to believe we're all in our late 50's and and early 60's now. I was 26 years old when we shot TEEN WOLF and will turn 63 in October. WOW! With this beautiful music, tears come easy to this old fool. Very bittersweet. My roommate back then, Sam played one of the guys on Fox's Basketball team. He tragically took his own life about about 10 years ago and I miss him dearly. Rest in Peace buddy and GOD BLESS YOU Michael J. Fox!

Yeah, this is great!

A score/song combo release for TEEN WOLF is one of my remaining grails.

Teen Wolf Too was actually Mark Goldenbergs final score.

Always loved the soundtrack to Teen Wolf. I had several copies of the German CD release at one point.

In addition to all the things mentioned so far, I also find it interesting how close the opening track 'Flesh On Fire' is to Journey's 'Separate Ways':

Flesh on Fire: https://youtu.be/CUCOPmuO-xA
Separate Ways: https://youtu.be/LatorN4P9aA

Given that 'Way To Go' is also somewhat reminiscent of Warren Zevon's 'Werewolves of London', I wonder if the producers had an idea to echo songs they would have liked to license.
