'cause when I watched the first 40 minutes (so I could hear the score) a few nights ago, I saw more cute guys in

a) tight jeans
b) shorts
c) bikini underwear

with their butts pointed towards the camera (or in revealing profile) than I experienced in a ANY non-gay movie in a LONG time.

And I wasn't even lookin' for it.

Criswell predicts a firestorm of both postings of pictures of guys in a) tight jeans, b) shorts and c) bikini underwear will be countered with cries of outrage from the non-gay so quickly that this thread will be shut down without us ever learning if JAWS III was a gay movie or not.

DavidinBerkeley - what the fuck you talk'n about? Granted I have NOT seen the film; I stopped after Jaws2. Of course you realize that now I have to put this title into my Netflix queue to see points you mentioned, and of course, thanks to you....Netflix will have a very long wait now to rent this!
Is 'Jaws III' a gay movie? Well, possibly, if the shark took it's teeth out!

Yes, don't criticize other people's butts until you've seen the butts yourself. I hate it when you people TALK about butts but have never actually VISITED the butts.

Hey, I saw all those butts in 3-friggin'-D when it was released theatrically! I still have the 3-D glasses somewhere around here. I was just a wee 12-year old, and I don't remember butts, boobs or anything else really except the overacting and claustrophobic sets. Oh, and I remember a severed hand floating in the water.

I always found the film cheap looking, and not just because of all of the political special effects that helped sink the film (excuse the lame pun). Consdiering the movie was directed by a reputable production designer, it looks less Ken Adam and more Irwin Allen. That underwater park looked like a Corman reject and the cinematography is sub TV movie. Even JAWS 4, with it's often magic hour lighting at least looked like a movie, albeit a bad one!

It is possible that at age 12, men's butts might not have meant much to you...

...yet.

Try taking them to a screening of the film now. Now that you are older and can appreciate the physiques of Dennis Quaid, et. al., see if anything "pops out" at you.

[snicker!]

Hehe, I'll second that. A turd in 3D is still a turd.

Tell us, Volde-dyce, was it Dennis Quaid who tempted you to The Other Side?

Or were there too many of them and it was so dark?

I don't recall anything particularly gay about it, but I do recall that it was the worst 3D movie ever made. Even the low-budget X-Rated The Stewardesses had better 3D effects.

Any film that has Lea Thompson in it is FAR from gay.

It was cheesy as hell, even as cheap and silly as a close-up of a syringe squirting fluid in 3-D. Whoopty-doo!

Nobody in Jaws 3-D had any influence on me whatsoever. It sure wasn't Lou Gossett. razz I dunno who or what "turned" me. It was probably something in one of my grandpa's issues of Penthouse.
