What's the matter with you people? Always so quick to rush to judgment. I happen to have the soundtrack to Chinese Antique Furniture by Karen Wang and it's magnificent. Scored for 123 musicians and a choir of seven voices, the music is ethereally bombastic, and sounds like a cross between Hans Zimmer, Erich Wolfgang Korngold, and Carl Stallings. It's twenty-eight minutes of incredible score, plus the song "My Ming Vase" sung by Ziao Murphy. I haven't seen the film but I cannot speak highly enough of Karen Wang's music. Unfortunately, it was a limited edition CD of only 103 copies and it sold out in fourteen minutes. Copies on eBay are commanding a very high premium - Ron Burbella paid $1,340 just the other day.

The orchestra that recorded this album could use more polish. IMHO!
