As for the cover art, I've always loved the original album art and am glad it's been retained. I only wish it was included in full rather than with the FSM border (although I know this is par for the course). The artwork is distinctive and sets it apart from other products such as the rock soundtrack, and besides that, the Chris Achilleos "Taarna" artwork is so ubiquitous when it comes to Heavy Metal paraphernalia. If another image was used, I would prefer the Richard Corben "Den" artwork used for the "Style B" poster.

This was my second all-time FSM purchase after the Superman blue box. I still listen to the Den, Green Ball, and Taarna music all the time, and just let it play through for Harry Canyon sometimes. If this is how good the composer’s personal 1/4” tape sounds, what’s to prevent Sony from digging out the original multitracks and laying that on us? This is a Sony asset, right?

Sony owns the title now but I believe it was independently produced and have no idea where the music masters might be. Lukas

Actually, thanks for reminding me—there was a facility that Elmer used a lot, Olympic Sound Studios, that notoriously closed and threw out the masters still at the location. We had to master a couple of Elmer's FMC albums from vinyl because of it. So HM, if it was there, may be gone. Fortunately Elmer had a great copy of that. Lukas
