I think of all these questions that kind of stupid. What are yours?

For example:

When you wash your laundry, do you put the soap on the bottom of the washing machine, with your clothing on top of it; or do you put the soap on top of your clothing?

Now that's a good one. Or someone knocks on the door. I haven't been to the toilet since 1983 because of the fear that when i start i might miss a Jehovah's witness or somebody at the door.

In my case, the question is has my dad installed some secret sensor in my house that tells him when I'm in the bath or john so he can call me?

If you look up to see the moon when you're stood on earth, why don't you look down to see the earth if you're stood on the moon?

asked a girl at work the other month.

seriously.

What´s the reason for life?

Okay, I will break the rule and give this one an answer (actually two answers):

1. 42 (pretty obvious)
2. In Kilgore Trout's book "Venus on the Half Shell," our hero traverses the galaxy getting in and out of all sorts of dangerous situations as he tries to find the answer to the question "why must we live and suffer only to die?" A wise man finally provides the answer for the hero:

"Why Not?"

don't know if this happens to any of you but...

why is there ONE stoplight on a route you use regularly that no matter what time of day or night you ALWAYS seem to get when it's red??? Like it sees you coming....

One of my favorite stupid questions:

Why does the stapler always run out when you're using it? (Duh!)

In the USA, you pay a check with a bill. In England, we pay a bill with a cheque.

How can you get such an easy thing so wrong?

Why do Brits take care of mistakes with a rubber? There would not BE a mistake if they used a rubber to begin with! wink

There's one in particular in my local area that is red 99.9% of the time I approach it. I've gotten so used to it that one day I stopped at it, and was suddenly treated to the blasting of a car horn from behind me. The light had been green the whole time, but I was just in the habit of stopping at it as if it was redembarrassment.

George Carlin had a good one back in the day.

He talked about how at an Airport, he would wonder why he'd always hear the people say-

"Let's get on the Plane now", "It's time to get on the Plane"

To which he replied

"You can get ON the Plane, I'm getting IN the Plane."

We get ON Trains, Planes and Buses but we get IN Cars.

Interesting.
