The music box theme from THE CHANGELING is such a perfect composition it really is a shame he's not scoring more high profile films.

Thanks Neil! Make more if you get a chance! I love that Blake album, and would enjoy seeing where more of the unused cues go.

I did a "Score Restore" for FSM Online a few months ago for the "Duel on the Sky Platform" (volume 13, issue 11).

I recently got some covers signed and he was SO nice, especially his assistant as well. His snowman score is just incredible.

I also used the Queen album to restore Prince Thun's original voice, so there is a moment where he is speaking and no dialogue is heard.

That's actor Geoerge Harris who played Mr Katanga in Raiders of the Lost Ark. I always thought it was kinda strange why they replaced his voice?
Way prefer the scene with Blakes score. smile

The more I listen to this score the more I lament that Blake never got a gig scoring a Bond film. He seemed to have just the right style and sensibilities for Bond. Damn, I love that Rocket Flight cue!
Wow , I last replied to this thread 11 years ago!

I listened to it recently and it's great. I always liked it in the film, though mostly remembered the Queen stuff. I still think everything he did works really well in the film. That minute long hero theme he did for Flash, where it's the same triumphant theme repeated three times, is a hoot, too. I love that score.

I love this score as well, given it was written in 10 days and nearly killed him.....

it tuned out great!!!

I also love this score and feel an album of this and the Queen tracks (without dialog) would be an amazing mix.

Ten days? That's crazy. An amazing job for that amount of time. It's one score that is genuinely good fun to listen to every time.

An insanely great score. Forget the franchises, having Blake score anything else with regularity would've been a gift, and I would've made it a priority to own those soundtracks.

The Duellists/Riddle of the Sands is also a must for those curious.
