I was assured that the new master is quite superior to the first pressing.
I plan to get it, but I'm going to wait a bit first.

Bumping this.....
I have the ORIGINAL Prometheus release, but could someone give a definitive answer as to whether their reissue truly sounds AMAZINGLY better? I love this score!

I was under the impression that both the Prometheus releases were exactly the same, apart from the artwork. They even share the same number, PCD 127.

The original pressing had uneven volume levels (one channel was louder than the other) and also had some clipping on a couple of tracks. The reissue fixed these problems.
