Jeez, Mark, catcha re-release this guy so those of us who want to puke over the thought of paying $300 for a CD can get one? Such a shame most of the fans will never get a hold of this album. I heard the clips on your site and thought you did a great job. My favorite cue was always the very end of the pilot movie where Hawk is playing the cello and crying as he remembers his dead girlfriend. The orchestra picks up as the Eagle soars overhead.
Ah well. . .

Thanks for your comments and I must say we have been absolutely amazed at the phenomenon that "AIRWOLF THEMES" has turned into. I can only put it down to the thousands of hours work that went into it over four-and-a-half years, because you know, we honestly really only expected to sell 75 - 100 of the thing. We thought we'd be in debt for years paying for it. How wrong we were.
A re-release of the original 2CD Special Limited Edition (VOLUME 1) is something we don't want to do at this stage for various logistical and financial reasons but we are looking at the logistics for web-based download of it in the future along the lines of Apple's iTunes Music Store etc., we'll see, it's only at the discussion stages at the moment.
As you may know, we're already working on what I think will be an even better sequel with more variations of the Main Theme (which is really what people want to hear) used in the show. Both "Eagle's Serenade" and "Gabrielle's Theme" (which you've mentioned here) are two tracks that I want to fully tackle for the Volume 2 soundtrack.

That's good news, Mark. I'll keep an eye on the site and mayble I'll luck out and be able to get the second volume. Yes, Gabrielle. I forgot her name. 
Obviously the Airwolf fanbase is a little larger than you expected. Congratulations on that and, even though I won't be owning a copy of the first volume (unless I rob someone's apartment somewhere), thanks for taking the huge time and effort to put it together.

Thanks for that Simon. Yes, the new Digitally-Remastered (and certain tracks have been Remixed too) version of the original 'Airwolf Themes 2CD: Special Limited Edition' soundtrack is now on Apple iTunes Stores around the world (Japan will on-line in mid-February though).
It's also on Napster and eMusic for the subscription music aficionados.
We're currently still working on the long-awaited sequel Airwolf Themes: Volume 2 soundtrack. Vaporware City! ;D

As fantastic as your recordings are, Mark, I still hoping for a few CDs or at least one with the original recorded cues stored in the Universal vaults. No matter whether in mono and condition the tapes are. Just listened to Vol. I & II last week and I still enjoy the music (HX1, Kingdom Come, Escape from Kafir, Moffetts Ghost and Airwolf vs. Redwolf are my favorites). Thanks again Mark for your and Jan's great work.
