It's a popular thing right now, in many fields.

My suggestion would be to simply not to worry too much about it. If the trolls start trolling, shame is on them, not on you. Don't get riled up, trolls will be trolls.
You cannot always find them out before (though new posters asking to identify some highly obscure piece of possible film music is a dead giveaway by now).

Indeed! I just went to the thread (hadn't read it before), and yikes! Seems like a lot of work for… what? "Hey, everybody! I just mildly irritated six film music fans! Isn't that awesome?!"
Indeed, I wonder about that too. Could just be your typical Internet loon of course. Or, since it is always the same pattern, but with increasingly more sophisticated wording, I suspect it may be A.I. bot training.
