In the 1950s, a posse of popular Warner Bros. TV Westerns galloped into American living rooms: Maverick, Sugarfoot, Bronco, Lawman, Colt .45. The sagebrush rage began with Cheyenne, an epic series of gun blazing action and panoramic prairie vistas that ran for seven top-rated seasons and helped turn a nation of accountants, salesclerks, and kids into armchair cowpokes. The source of Cheyenne’s significant popularity was its charismatic and heroic leading man, Clint Walker, who rose to instant TV-star fame as Cheyenne Bodie, six-and-a-half feet of cowboy brawn, courage and integrity. The series is highlighted by early television appearances of such future stars James Garner, Edd Byrnes, Alan Hale, Jr., Dan Blocker, Lee Van Cleef, Michael Landon, Lorne Greene, Angie Dickinson, Connie Stevens and Ellen Burstyn. This Blu-ray collection contains all 107 episodes of the series, all meticulously remastered from 4K scans of the original camera negatives.

Here's the specs for the other titles:

Last Stand at Saber River

"Used to be nobody gave two nickels about me." Ex-Confederate Paul Cable observes. Cable liked it that way. Now the would-be homesteader is drawing too much notice. And far too many bullets. Tom Selleck rides into Western adventure in grand, gritty style as Cable in Last Stand at Saber River, from the novel by Elmore Leonard (Get Shorty, Out of Bounds) . With his strong-willed pioneer wife (Suzy Amis) and two children (Haley Joel Osment and Rachel Duncan) Cable return to his Arizona home to resume a quiet life. Instead, he finds Union sympathizers (David and Keith Carradine) have taken possession of the small spread. The war should be over. But Cable faces one more battle before the healing can begin.

As America despaired during the early days of the Depression, Hollywood met the challenge with chorus girls, gangsters, romances, a few dramas of social realism, and this one-of-a-kind thoroughly astonishing fantasy: Gabriel Over the White House. Hit Man

Tyrone Tackett's brother wasn't the kind of man to throw his life away. Somebody killed him, plain and simple. And by the time Tyrone crisscrosses L.A. and pieces together the crime, lots of folks are going to pay. With equal amounts of tough and sexy, Bernie Casey portrays Tyrone and Pam Grier plays a sultry skin-flick star in this first Americanized remake of the iconic Michael Caine action film Get Carter. From Watts to the West Side, from porno parlors to a high-rise, from motel dives to a crime kingpin's sprawling pleasure dome, from corner hangouts to a wildlife preserve, Tyrone covers a lot of real estate, busts a lot of heads. And throughout, star Casey "keeps enough cool for a half a dozen movie heroes" (Roger Greenspun, The New York Times).

The citizens of Earth II decide to disarm the warheads, despite China's warning that anyone who interferes will instigate a thermonuclear World War III. Outstanding special effects and an impressive cast headed by 2001: A Space Odyssey co-star Gary Lockwood highlights this space-frontier chiller that brings audiences to the terrifying edge of Doomsday. Can men and women of peace triumph over the formidable power of nuclear weapons? Earth II has the answer. The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse

Rudolph Valentino stars in the role that made him a star, as the romantic Argentine hero who sacrifices his life for love in this classic adaptation of Vicente Blasco Ibáñez's novel The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse. Julio Desnoyers (Valentino), the libertine son of a wealthy Frenchman living in Argentina , follows in the footsteps of his family when they return to Europe. Julio lives as an artist in Paris and falls in love with married Marguerite Lurier (Alice Terry). When the World War breaks out, Julio remains aloof from the conflict, despite a visitation by the specters of the Four Horsemen-War, Conquest, Famine and Death. Marguerite volunteers for the Red Cross and devotes herself to her husband when he is blinded in action. Shamed by his lover's sacrifice, Julio enlists in the army, aware that his German cousins are fighting without mercy on the other side. Under the extraordinary direction of Rex Ingram, this film achieved the rare combination of critical acclaim and box-office success, going on to earn its place in film history as one of the greatest classics of the silent era. Newly remastered for Blu-ray release, based on Photoplay Productions' 1993 photochemical restoration of the film, accompanied by a magnificent orchestral score by Carl Davis.

Special thanks to Kevin Brownlow and Patrick Stanbury of Photoplay Productions for their invaluable support and guidance which enabled this new Blu-ray release.

Sadie McKee

In this vivid melodrama, Joan Crawford is Sadie McKee, who must choose between love (with Gene Raymond) and money (with Edward Arnold)…and eventually gets both (with Franchot Tone). Crawford had an amazing ability to adapt her screen persona with changing times. She was a frenetic flapper in the '20s, a chin-up working girl in the '30s, and a film noir femme fatale in the '40s. Here she is at her Depression-Era peak as Sadie, a maid who sacrifices all for love, suffers like crazy but somehow winds up happy at the end.The leading lady gets excellent support from her three co-stars. Tone (who was soon to become Crawford's second husband)and Raymond are compelling as the handsome young suitors in her life, one good, one a scoundrel. And Edward Arnold is particularly memorable in his sympathetic portrayal of the millionaire drunk Sadie marries. But from rags to riches, from heartbreak to happiness, the film is all Crawford's.

While delivering a shipment of horses desperately needed to mount a big offensive in the United States' Civil War, Union Major Lex Kearny (Cooper) is overwhelmed by a band of Confederate raiders. Rather than risk the lives of his men, he sounds retreat, leaving the precious cargo behind--for which he faces a court-martial. But this is only a ploy to send Kearny underground to find who has been stealing horses from the Union Army. Kearny's mission remains so secret that even his wife (Phyllis Thaxter) believes he has gone renegade, and she surrenders evidence that implicates him as a Southern spy. Now, can Kearny stop the gang of traitorous horse thieves before he is sentenced to death for espionage?

Side Street

This thrilling Anthony Mann-directed film noir classis follows a part-time postal clerk who, in a moment of desperation, takes what he thinks is $200 but finds himself wanted by the police and the underworld for stealing a $30,000 intended blackmail payment. New York City postal worker Joe Norson (Farley Granger) wants nothing more than to provide a comfortable life for himself and his wife (Cathy O'Donnell), who is pregnant. Out of frustration he steals $30,000 from the shady lawyer Victor Backett (Edmon Ryan). However, the theft has higher stakes than Joe could have imagined: Backett extorted the money from Emil Lorrison (Paul Harvey), an innocent man whom he framed in a sex scandal and later murdered. Trying to hide the money from his wife, Joe gives it to his friend Nick Drumman (Edwin Max) for safekeeping. When Joe attempts to retrieve the money and return it to Backett, he finds himself caught up in a murderous web. A spectacular car chase brings a climax to the film, which was largely shot at various iconic New York locations, including Central Park, Stuyvesant Town, Battery Park, the Bellevue Hospital morgue, the Polyclinic maternity ward, Wall Street, Bowling Green Park, the Fulton Fish Market, the Queensboro Bridge and a Greenwich Village nightclub. Lili

Orphan Lili Daurier joins a carnival and falls under the spell of its star, a suave magician. But it is the show's crippled, embittered puppeteer who truly loves Lili, a love he can express only through his puppets. "It is not often that the word 'enchanting' can accurately be applied to a musical," Clive Hirschhorn wrote in The Hollywood Musical, "but it was the best way to describe Lili, as well as Leslie Caron's genuinely touching performance." Nominated for six Academy Awards® , Lili offers sentiment without sugar, simplicity without banality and a lyrical heart that beats to an Oscar -winning Bronislau Kaper score highlighted by Hi-Lili, Hi-Lo and an imaginative sequence of Caron dancing with her beloved puppets come to life.
