Next week, we'll announce four new Dragon's Domain.

The first release is a reissue of the soundtrack from a classic horror film from the 90s. It has been remastered for vastly improved sound, features brand-new artwork, and includes new notes about the product of its time.

The second title is another reissue of a score initially released 25 years ago. We have created new artwork, remastered the score, and put it in show order. It's a little-known treasure from that era.

The third release is a golden age collection, but this time, it is horror-oriented, and we hope you will enjoy it.

The last release will be a compilation of two scores by a composer we are very fond of, who has been overlooked. The first score is a flat horror effort, while the second combines romantic and science-fiction qualities that are very much a product of its time.

Thank you for shopping with us, and have a Happy Halloween!

I always look forward to Dragon’s Domain titles. I would love the last release to be Conti’s NOMADS, but I can’t think of a Conti title that’s romantic and sci-fi?

The last 2 are very intriguing. Could it be from a Universal Horror film or maybe a fifties Hammer film?
Even #4 - at one time GDi, when they were putting out Hammer Film soundtracks . . . David Whitaker's Dr Jekyll & Sister Hyde was slated to come out but instead Tritram Carey's Blood From the Mummy's Tomb came out. So I am thinking maybe it is Sister Hyde and maybe Scream and Scream Again which I have as an iso from a laser disc or blu-ray. Or Maybe a Les Baxter classic like the Pit and the Pendulum. Once can hope. I am probably so far off. But one can wish!!

Thank you Ford for continuing to offer interesting, rare and unexpected titles for sale at a time when this is NOT always the case from all labels. This is not a criticism of others but a compliment to Buysoundtrax and Dragons Domain for thinking outside the box. Not sure how your 500 copy business model works but it clearly does, combined with your download strategy - but the bottom line means lots of non-grail terrific tv and movie scores are getting released. Well done…and keep the tv scores coming! When ARE you releasing THE SIX MILLION DOLLAR MAN???.????????????

Could the composer be overlooked by Brian May, with the horror score being The Day After Halloween and the Sci-fi - romance being Steel Dawn?

For your information, we released THE DAY AFTER HALLOWEEN, aka SNAPSHOT, on the BRIAN MAY HORROR COLLECTION, which is available on the site as both a CD and Digital Download as well as through other digital platforms as well.

As for STEEL DAWN, that's a bit of a mess, and there is also an element issue so I wouldn't be counting on that anytime soon.

Great!Love your lable for the focus on the ones being overlooked!!!!
Seems that nothing might be in this bunch for me this time for they are too nineties and golden age and no sixties and seventies stuff...but keep ' em coming..nevertheless....great!

I'm elated to stodge the elephant in the room, that....

DD has seemingly corrected their shipping issues, and we're seeing fewer "WHERE IS MY ORDER?" posts.

Bravo Ford, as I sensed this connected to you.

Customer service seems in control, and you are rebuilding trust, which is great, as you are releasing some very fine film music.

No one knows the why or how of prior, horrendous customer service via Buysoundtrax, I assumed it was just YOU fulfilling orders, and humanly missing some.

Thank you for getting your (DD's) act seemingly together. Still the rare, where is my order?...but it's dwindled, and your outfit is releasing some terrific stuff.

Keep on reforging trust of your customers, know we ALL read here, and when we see dodgy comments, you lose trust and devotion. Every "Where is my order?" Post damages you severely.

I'm happy things are getting sorted and corrected.
We're too small a community for these issues.
We should really love, respect and support each other.

"That's all I've got for today....nah, go away!" (Credit: CD).

Sounds exciting. Dragon's Domain is among my most anticipated (and listened-to) label. I also LOVE your embrace of downloads and streaming.

For me, the most overlooked composer of the horror/sci-fi genres is Roger Kellaway !!

So the horror title might be EVILSPEAK or JAWS OF SATAN but I can't think of a romantic/sci-fi film that he
scored.

Hmmm, maybe it is finally Buxton Orr ? FIRST MAN INTO SPACE as the "somewhat" romantic/sci-fi title
and GRIP OF THE STRANGLER for horror ? Both movies were produced by Richard Gordon !

And way to many possibilities for the 90's classic horror re-issue !! I mean, is FRANKENHOOKER a classic ? big grin
DR. GIGGLES ? IN THE MOUTH OF MADNESS ? IT ?

I agree -- I too am always interested to see what Dragon's Domain Records is releasing. Often good stuff.

I hope for more Collection titles from Morton Stevens and others they have done so far, and hope for Collection titles from other composers as well (examples I hope for: Mike Post, Velton Ray Bunch, David Bell, Dennis McCarthy, Fred Karlin, others).

As far as the movie, 'classic' is a real stretch, but having May's Dr. Giggles back in print (Intrada did the original in '92) would be a treat.

I would dare say it will be seeing some releases of these folks in 2025 if all well.
