Bill Carson, don’t send people to me to get your email address. I am not your messenger service. If you want to give people your address then figure out a way to do that without me. Like putting it in your profile.

Just drop into the local bookies near West Ham at the weekend, he's bound to be there
She's actually going to wear the shirt that I had custom made for her. During our pandemic Zoom meetings, I got a screen capture of the Earl of Poncey. The shirt has an enlarged photo with the caption "Has Anyone Seen This Man?"
Edw I'm like the elusive pimpernel. Lol. Apart from my gunmaker, nobody has seen me
Have emailed Mr Sones directly.
P.s Paul, those Caine tee shirts are for sale on the internet. Just search get carter tee shirts.
I wanted to be snarky and ask if pimpernel was UK slang for something but I know what it means lol. So you're elusive huh? Not after that tee shirt is seen all over SoHo and Aberdeen.
Thanks for reaching out to Sones - mission accomplished.
The weary traveler is home. My daughter had a wonderful trip that included a show at the Palladium, Bletchley Park, interesting food, meeting new work friends and getting a good dose of November weather in the UK. She stayed in SoHo and stayed in a building built in the early 1700s if I recall. She found the crowds a bit daunting but told us she learned to navigate them and felt very safe. She has invited my husband and I to travel with her for trip next year. Whether we go or not, she'll no doubt go back. For now, she is trying to get 5 hours back after landing the day before Thanksgiving.
My daughter has asked me to thank everyone on the board who offered tips and suggestions. Thanks all from me too.
P.S. Bill, I'm sad to report that no one recognized your picture on her tee shirt.
Glad she's back OK. I suspect 5 days and back was a bit of a blur, espec with the first 2 being storm days.
Next time come between may and September
Thanks Bill. She was prepared for the cold weather but it was the rain that she found so bone-chilling. I picked her up at the crazy airport and when she hopped in the car, among her first words were "the time went so fast that I can hardly remember what I did each day". It will make great table talk over a turkey tomorrow. And yes, she's already said her next trip will be in warmer weather.
I'm off next Tuesday (3rd), spending a week there. Hope to meet with Mike Jenner, go to some of the old haunts.
Have a good trip john.
Due to traveling lightly, my daughter didn't bring much home from London but she did bring COVID. On Thanksgiving morning she woke up feeling lousy and tested positive. Luckily she's vaxed and her symptoms are mild. That meant my son and the rest of the guests had to take a rain check. We decided to cook all of the food as if they were coming and my husband delivered it to my son's house and brought home portions of what they prepared to bring. Everybody had a Happy Thanksgiving. So far the rest of us are feeling fine.
Sorry to hear edw. Most likely caught on the plane. Lots of covid and similar bugs about this autumn here. Hope it's a mild one and she's already improving.
Thanks for the kind wishes Bill and joan. I will pass it on. She's pretty sure that it was the flight as well. She felt guilty about the impact on Thanksgiving but we all talked her out of that. Next week is my son's birthday so we get a chance for a redo.
