Do you guys remember this film? I think it’s hilarious! My favorite scene from this film is when Steve Martin and Charles Grodin are talking about haircuts on a park bench.

Yo henry!

Yep, I revisit this one every few years. Cute, likeable comedy with a fun Goldsmith score. Intrada did a fine job wrangling this one to disc.

We need another Steve Martin doing schtick again, not whatever mean spiritedness/referential humour that allegedly passes for comedy these days!

Is this the film where he licks a brain in a glass jar? If it has CG in it then I need to watch it, he’s my second favorite “dry” comedian after our just dearly departed Bob Newhart.

Hey buddy! Your thinking of THE MAN WITH TWO BRAINS, also a very funny film.

I think it's Jim Cleveland's favourite film.

The Lonely Guy: my favorite scene is when he gets interviewed to rent an apartment.

The Man with Two Brains: when he instructs a little girl at the scene of his car accident to go for help. Also, when he asks his late wife's painting to give him a sign if he shouldn't marry Kathleen Turner.

I really like those movies, along with The Jerk.

The mix of cartoon humor and rom-com tropes didn’t work for me. Martin would get the balance right with L.A. Story.

I remember it being a fun, light-hearted romp (more TV Movie than Feature Film to me) but nowhere near the quality of THE JERK or MAN WITH TWO BRAINS or DEAD MEN DON'T WEAR PLAID or ALL OF ME or L.A STORY...

I like him a lot more when he's more restraint like in Roxanne. Just never liked comedians who act like clowns. I can’t stand Jim Carrey. Which is no surprised since I prefer dry humor.
