Some kind of European Nations International final on TV tonight, Portugal versus Spain. I watched the second half. Anyone could have predicted that it was gonna go to extra time and then penalties. It was boring; yet another typical example of today's football. (And how disillusioned I am becoming with it). Portugal won with the last penalty kick, for whoever cares.

Well after last night's drudgery, tonight's football on TV turned out to be more inspiring - Belgium versus Wales. After a bad start (going 3 - 0 down) the Welshmen staged a comeback in the second half and it was 3 - 3 before DeBruyne got a late winner for the Belgians. Good game, good game.

The Oil Cheats are really stocking up on players lately.
Shitloads bought/spent in the January transfer window and now in the mini-window too.
It will be a surprise to the new players when they are playing in the Northern Conference league (hopefully) soon.
Or has a deal been brokered to hit them with a HUGE cash fine (which they can afford to pay) and a few transfer window bans (which they're currently circumventing) and probably a points deduction that they can overcome in-season (when you consider its about 60 points that separates the bottom 3-5 and the top 5).
I sometimes wonder what will come first...the Goldsmith Companion books or the outcome of the 115 cheats.
$till cheating, I gue$$.

Watching a few mins of england Senegal. 1 1 atm. Kyle walker is like striker who lost his pace - take it away and he's dangerously average footballer. Error for the Senegal goal, lost the ball a few times, late, unnecessary tackle n got booked...he's shot. Don't deserve to reach 100 caps.

Onloan at ACMilan and they've basically sent him back to City

Finished 1 3 lol

On the bright side, England beat the Windies 6-0 across the ODIs and T20 series. So it’s not all gloom and doom.

Love those commentaries.

And I’m afraid some money-spinning atrocity is about to kick off calling itself the Club World Cup or some such bollocks.

That Club World Cup shite is making the headlines...
For empty stadiums and lack of interest and ridiculous mis matches (10 nil to Bayern Munich) eek
But it's not about the money!!

Premier League fixtures released. Honestly, they all look terrifying…

First game up for Leeds, home to Everton. I don’t think it’ll come down to the final game, but if it does we’re away to the ‘appy ‘ammers.

We will be relegated by then
In fact it might be obvious after 6 games

I saw that scoreline, makes a nonsense of the whole tournament, but we knew it would be anyway. Someone needs to rip up FIFA and rebuild. They're an embarrassment to football, with this and their 32/48 team World Cups. The major countries need to take a stand and say 'enough'.
