So we have an upcoming eclipse. I guess it depends on the weather a week from now so it’s too early to get excited. I’m ambivalent about looking at it. The New York Times had their whole science section devoted to it. One article quotes some doctors with patients who took months to recover to one who has a permanent burn of the eclipse on her retina. I’ve also read about bootleg glasses not meeting standards. It’s not total by me but it will get pretty dark.
