He was on Kimmel recently. I'm not a Trekkie or anything, but I'm really fascinated with this man, who looks at least 30 years younger than what he actually is: It’s called plastic surgery. Must be good genes. When you see Shatner walk and talk, he is very sharp and fit for a 93 year old. You don't get that with plastic surgery.

Happy 93rd Birthday to an amazing human being... "The One and Only" William Shatner... He has been a huge part of my life FOREVER... Star Trek is my #1 favorite TV show of all time, and has been so for my entire life... And Captain Kirk is one of my all-time favorite fictional characters ever created, magnificently brought to life by Shatner, who is definitely one of my favorite actors... Kirk VS the Gorn and Kirk destroying the Doomsday Machine are vivid memories of my TV past burned into every fiber of my being! And I will forever remember the absolute thrill of seeing Star Trek: The Motion Picture in the movie theatre in 1979 when I was 13 years old. It is one of the greatest sci-fi films ever made ("Hell, it's one of the greatest films ever made of ANY KIND"), and it was one of the greatest, most exhilarating movie-going experiences of my young life... From the visionary brilliance and guidance of the great Gene Roddenberry, to the always reliable performances of William Shatner and Leonard Nimoy, to the impeccable direction of Robert Wise, to the jaw-dropping special effects of Douglas Trumbull and John Dykstra, to the beautiful and majestic music score of the great Jerry Goldsmith... It succeeds on every level... Star Trek: The Motion Picture is a true CLASSIC, and a MASTERPIECE. I also have to mention the 1963 Twilight Zone episode "Nightmare at 20,000 Feet"... "WOW!" That amazing episode directed by Richard Donner about a passenger on an airline flight who is the only one who notices a hideous creature trying to sabotage the aircraft during flight is one of my all-time favorite moments in all of television... Shatner was terrific! "Ha!"... And who can forget Shatner's "unique musical interpretation" of Rocket Man... "Absolute GOLD!" Again, Happy 93rd Birthday to you, sir ("That's amazing"!).. You have given me decades of joy... Thank you... As your Vulcan 1st Officer always says... "Live long and Prosper"... YOUR Human Adventure is just beginning.
