I can't recall a better batch of CDs being released all at once in the last several years.

Heidi - a JW I haven't even heard!

Dad - the original was my FIRST film score CD and made me a JH fan.

Society of the Snow - I like Giacchino alot.

Seance on a Wet Afternoon - a Barry I am not familiar with! wow!

Bloodline - one of my favorite Morricone's

Venom - a Kamen I never heard of

I will definitely get all of these except Bloodline (the original is good enough) and Venom (not a big Kamen guy).

Way to go, people!

Let’s not forget Intrada’s MacArthur on Monday! My wallet is crying on top of Xmas shopping. Together with the LL releases I’ve never double dipped on so many soundtracks within a months time period before.

Thankfully, my wallet is home free. That's the one good thing about all these reissues and expansions; they keep my wallet safe. smile In some way, I breathe a sigh of relief that there aren't previously unreleased Williams scores and the like that I would be "forced" to buy, even if it would obviously be great to have them. That being said, I can easily see why these batches cause so much enthusiasm in these circles - an embarassment of riches, is that the term?

Most of these scores I bought years ago upon initial releases so despite the cost of double dipping these bring me back to lost times and the nostalgia of revisiting them. What a great hobby.
